Educational Differences

My worse educational experience was when I was in the fourth grade where my teacher was pregnant and couldn't go through the entire year. The school instead of trying to hire someone that could replace her for the year decided to just keep finding substitutes for the class so throughout that year my class went through eleven different teachers. I think that the school should have been more responsible and take in consideration for the students best interest and hired someone on a permanent basis.

The best schooling experience that I can recall was the fact that my 8th grade teacher told me when I was struggling in a certain was that not to get upset or worry because there are many more things in life more tragic then a simple bad grade. The reason I take that to heart is because that very true because you sit there and get all worked up over a bad grade, which means that you are kind of putting a bad grade in the same category and say someone passing away. That is two very different categories. OK you get a bad grade so work harder on the next assignment and get a good grade on that.

I see this may be your worse educational experience but it was good your teacher was pregnant to bring a child in the world. But on the other hand I dont see why they wouldnt try to hire a teacher for the rest of the year. Learning was very important a that young age. Which as fourth graders yall needed for the next level.

It is very tough when you are young you not have the type of stability that is offered in the classroom by having the same teacher everyday, and i think it is because of this that you relate this to your worst educational experience. In contrast I was very interested in the words of your 8th grade teachers because those words are very true because yes it is important to do well in school, but there are much more important things in life.

It must have been rough going though so many subs in one year, I would find it hard to learn anything. Your 8th grade teacher however makes a point that I really agree with. You cant do anything about the past, just focus on what you can control.

Motivation is key to learning. I always think its good when professors encourage you to do better. Many times its easy to give up and if it seems like your professor isn't approachable, then it seems pointless to even try.
