My ideal job is to become a police officer. My whole life just like all kids I would go around saying and dreaming about what I wanted to be and all I wanted to be was a cop. The reason that I wanted to become a cop was the fact that it is a civil duty that protects the public from from crime from others. Another reason that I wanted to become a cop was the fact that my grandfather was a cop for over twenty years and I had someone to look up to and wanted to follow in his footsteps.

I think that becoming a police officer is so admirable. Putting your life on the line for others every day is so brave, and i don't think that a lot of people are interested in those jobs today. I also think it's really cool how you're following in your grandfather's footsteps. It seems like you're truly following your dreams without being influenced by things like money.
I really admire you for wanting to become a police officer. I also completely understand your being influenced by your family. I was also influenced by a family member. My mom's ideal career was similar to mine, and just because she was young when she had me and so I went to a lot of her classes with her, so I always liked the sort of things that I am studying now.
One of my really close friends is a police office and loves it! Defiantly a great job to start at for the government and work your way up into special units. I think that it is also wonderful that you are following in your grandfathers footsteps! I thought about becoming a cop but I don't think I would be able to handle the stress and pursuits! Good luck!
